Roy Salvadori driving the Cooper T45 at the 1958 British GP at Silverstone where he finished on the podium behind Peter Collins and Mike Hawthorn both Ferrari drivers, Salvadori beat Stuart Lewis Evans who finished 4th, by 2 tenths of a second, for the next race the German GP at the Nrburgring Salvadori started from 6th and finished 2nd, his best ever result in Formula 1 beaten by Tony Brooks by more than 3 minutes
Tom Pryce raced 42 Grand Prix in Formula 1, started from Pole once and finished on the podium on two occasions, but at the 1977 South African GP at Kyalami while Pryce was driving behind Hans-Joachim Stuck two marshals crossed the track to assist Renzo Zorzi and unfortunately was hit on the head with the fire extinguisher that the still teenager marshal was carrying, both (Pryce and the marshal) died immediately in a very sad day for motor racing
April 30, 1994 Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Saturday qualifying for the San Marino GP at Imola, Roland Ratzenberger accident took by surprise the entire world of F1 nonetheless the race goes ahead and Ayrton Senna onboard his Williams FW16 starts the race on Pole Position, both drivers will always be remembered
